Movie Review : The Pursuit off Happyness

PIC This is the cover of the book version- <>

If this had to be a 2 word review: Heart Warming!

The happyness here is intentionly spell with a"Y" instead of "I", why? After u watched it, u'll get the answer.

The story is inspired by true story of Christopher Paul Gardner, u are wondering who the hell is him? Let me tell u, he is self-made millionaire and entrepreneur who began his early career as a succesful stokebroker. If you think this is faily common kind of story, then i tell u, u're wrg! What differentiate him from other self made millionaire is his homeless, loneliness and struggles to live during his early life.

Will Smith plays Chris Gardner, a real life salesman who was pushed to the point of homelessness in an attempt to reach his life goal. When the story opens we find Chris selling or I should say “trying” to sell bone density scanners – something it turns out most hospitals are not in need of. With bills piling up, taxes to pay, and a young son to take care of, the Gardner’s are struggling to get by. When Chris decides to try a new career path (becoming a stock broker), his wife decides she has had enough and leaves the family.

The struggles really get bad when Chris enters a training program as an intern at a brokerage firm. The program is 6 months long with no pay and no guarantee of a job when he is done either. Since then, no money to pay for taxes, rentals. The landlord chases him and his son away, his friends, Wayne who owe him an amount of 14 bucks (yes, just 14 bucks) bully him and ignore to repay back. He has no income, which u can c, 14 bucks is a HUGE amount when u have ZERO.

The kid of gardner, casted by Will Smith's real life son; is CUTE and adorable. Continues the story, they are homeless.

{Gardner often scrambled to place his child in daycare, stood in soup lines and slept wherever he and his son could find safety—in his office after hours, at flophouses, at parks, and even in a locked bathroom at the Bay Area Rapid Transit station}, Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Gardner

That phrase is absoluely true and was illustrated as real as the one u can imagine in the movie, Will Smith locked themself in the toilet of a rapid station and the tears dropped slowly--- their terrible life. This scene is very warm and it did inspire me A LITTLE bit, just a little. lolzzzzzzzz.

I love to watch those meaningful movies. For me, this movie is perfect; no big budget, no computer effect like Transformer - BUT touches my heart.

9.5 out of 10!!
